Be’er Sheva – The Amazing Race

“Today we woke up at 6:30 (although it sounds early we were all ecstatic to hear we didn’t have to wake up at 4 again!) and had the option of praying or doing Krav Maga by the beautiful tee pees which we have been at for the last three days. After praying and Krav Maga we went to finish packing up our stuff and finally got to hand in our sleeping bags and mats (no more sleeping in the  woods!)

Shlomo, the bus driver and chef, prepared us his special eggs for breakfast. We packed the buses and headed to Be’er Sheva. In Be’er Sheva we did the amazing race. (Editor’s note. Must see the pics to understand what they did and how awesome: The Amazing Race July 26th Pics)

We were given multiple challenges and locations to visit and went around trying to complete our missions. We headed to street where we went for lunch with our ILEAD families. We went to a yeshiva were we were able to see the Gaza strip, and we learned about the problems that face Sderot, and the renovations that will be made there in the future. We are now headed to Gush Etzion.”
