Consider this a Monday afternoon Treat – An ILEAD Update:
Yesterday the Pioneers experienced the power of will, determination and innovation.
They had the opportunity to meet with the Founder and President of Rewalk & UpNRide, Dr. Amit Gofer. UPnRIDE is a wheeled robotic device, providing upright and seated mobility both for wheelchair users, and for anyone who is unable to, or has difficulty standing or walking.
The company was born out of the knowledge and experiences of Dr. Amit Goffer who became paralyzed as a result of an accident. He wanted to regain his independence by having control of standing and walking whenever he needed. The Pioneers met with Dr. Goffer and in a few hours experienced living proof that problems are just life’s way of masking our opportunities to create. They then had the opportunity to understand a problem and create a solution by visiting the desalination plant.
