Good Afternoon,
What a day! The Pioneers had an amazing day which started off with them visiting Yeruham. They had the opportunity to visit the home of Reuel, the Educational Director of ILEAD. They discussed what it means to relocate your home from a city like Jerusalem to a smaller village in the south. We tied it back In to the value of family, community and quality of life.
We then had a delicious lunch by one of the local residents learning about the program “Mevashlot” they started which enables housewives to cook with kosher certification and entertain visitors of Yeruham.
Then the action began. They learned how to shoot a bow and arrow – short and long distance and learned about acro-balancing. For more on that only the pictures can tell the story….
We then had a discussion on each of their ability to tap into their potential and become great in their own way by knowing that they can do anything they put their effort to. The only thing that can stand in their way would be themselves.
The Pioneers are happy and enjoying the last few days. They can’t wait to get home to their families and looking forward to their home cooked Shabbat dinner!
