This Desert Life…

The Pioneers have been learning experientially (not a real word btw) on their ILEAD Experience daily. Setting up in the dessert the last 2 days, they are amazed at what can be accomplished in one day, often doing what would normally take a week in any other setting. Check out a high level overview of the last 2 days followed by great pictures of their adventures:

• 4am wake up for hike at Ein Akev
• Shaharit Prayer on mountain at sunrise.
• Return to camp site to relax and swim
• David Ben Gurion memorial
• Renewable energy presentation and visit to solar panel fields
• Finishing touches on Project Hangout at Yerucham youth center.

Wednesday:

• Pack up campsite
• Hamidbar medaber session by Elysheva
• Refillable structure lesson in be’er sheva
• Visited cyber security company recently bought by PayPal for $60M (Cyactive)
• Campers choice of lunch in and around mall of be’er sheva
• Desalination plant in palmachim
• Army base, marching and uniforms received – Boot camp starting… 🙂
